Administrative Assistant


Viscardi Resources, medical treatment and nurse case management specialists, is looking for a part time administrative assistant to perform diversified administrative/co-ordinative duties supporting the operations of a growing organization. Your work assignments are varied in nature requiring judgment, tact, creativity, and initiative. This job has the potential to become a full time position.


  • Closely support CEO and Administrative Executive
  • Handle telephone, email and snail mail correspondence
  • Maintain files; paper as well as electronic
  • Coordinate data from a variety of sources

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Associates Degree
  • Experience working in fast paced environments with changing priorities    
  • Excellent computer proficiency with an ability to learn new applications quickly    
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities; good listening skills, writing and verbal skills, discretion
  • Strong anticipation skills and forward thinking  
  • Detail/task orientated, organized and structured

Onsite Nurse Case Manager


Immediate opening for a part-time Onsite Nurse Case Manager for work related injuries and illnesses. The Onsite Nurse Case Manager will perform initial and ongoing clinical assessments and travel to provider visits to discuss injured worker status, treatment plan and return to work trajectory. Travel area includes the 5 NYC boroughs, Nassau and Suffolk counties.

Responsibilities also include assessment, planning, implementation and coordination of all case management activities associated with an injured employee. Work is completed remotely. Pay will be on a per diem basis. This job has the potential to become an immediate full-time position for the right candidate.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Bachelor's Degree (BSN a plus)
  • Clinical Experience
  • Experience in Case Management (a plus)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe
  • Capability of adapting to technology platforms


  • Current and Unrestricted RN License in New York State

Part Time Nurse Case Manager


Viscardi Resources, medical treatment and nurse case management specialists, is looking for part time Nurse Case Manager.  The Nurse Case Manager will perform initial and on-going clinical assessments to treat work related injuries and illnesses. Telephonically assess, plan, implement and coordinate all case management activities associated with an injured employee; collaborating with injured workers, adjusters, health care providers, employers, attorneys, etc., to facilitate the patient’s appropriate and timely return to work.


  • Coordinate and assure proper delivery and oversight of medical and disability services
  • Perform pre-certification process for prescribed treatment by gathering relevant data through clinical interviews with the injured worker, provider(s), and employer
  • Assess and identify barriers to recovery
  • Plan a proactive course of action to enhance the injured employee's short and long-term outcomes
  • Determine goals, objectives, and potential alternatives to care for the injured worker
  • Evaluate patient’s treatment plan and coordinate proper delivery of medical and rehabilitative services using cost containment strategies
  • Provide medical and disability education
  • Assist employers with the development of transitional, sedentary, or modified job duties based on the injured worker's functional capacity
  • Monitor, evaluate, and document case management activities and outcomes including, but not limited to: case management approaches, over/under utilization, inappropriate care, effective treatment, permanent or temporary loss of function, failed or premature return to work, non-compliance

Qualifications and Competencies

  • BSN
  • Current and Unrestricted RN License in state of New York
  • Experience working with New York State Medical Treatment Guidelines a plus
  • Certified Case Manager a plus
